What This Type Is About

You're not spineless — you're acutely aware of how words land on people, and you factor that in before you speak. You have genuine opinions; you just wrap them in qualifiers: 'just my take,' 'could be wrong,' 'not sure this applies here.' Part of this is tact and real care for the humans in the conversation. Part of it is a trained aversion to being the person who made things uncomfortable. The result is that you're one of the more tolerable people to disagree with, and a reliable neutral ground when both sides need someone to land on. The cost: sometimes what you actually wanted to say got edited down to something much milder than the situation called for.
