SBTI stands for Social Behavioral Type Indicator. The SBTI personality test measures behavioral patterns across five models: Self, Emotional, Agreeableness, Achievement, and Social.
There are 27 SBTI personality types in total — 20 standard types, 1 fallback type (HHHH), 1 hidden type (DRUNK), and 5 rare types. Your result is determined by computing your dimension vector and matching it to the closest type pattern.
Each of the 30 questions maps to one dimension. Your answers generate a 15-dimension score vector. The SBTI system computes the Manhattan distance between your vector and each type pattern, then returns the closest match.
Yes. If your honest answers shift even slightly — because of mood, context, or how a question reads that day — your dimension scores can change, and you might get a different SBTI personality type.
No. The SBTI personality test is an independent system with its own 15 dimensions and 27 types. It does not use the four MBTI dichotomies (E/I, S/N, T/F, J/P). The results are not comparable.
There is a hidden SBTI type called DRUNK. It can only be unlocked by answering a specific combination in the special questions at the end of the test. Most users never see it.
